The Course in Historical Tailoring aims to prepare students for the design and production of historical costumes. The craft techniques of the Historical Tailoring will be illustrated through a combination of educational, theoretical and practical activities. A hands-on implementation will follow each historical period studied.
The program includes lectures on textile culture, cutting techniques and theatrical tailoring of male and female costumes.
The course lasts eight months, from November 26 to June 16, every Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00.
